Ans: The writer learnt about his disease of lever
through a circular. He come to know that he was suffering from all diseases
starting A to Z.

Ans: He was not
suffering from one disease “Housemaid’s knee”.

find he didn’t have it?
Ans: No, he was not
pleased to find he did not have it.

Ans: The medical student can examine him and
study about all diseases of the world.

Ans: He met his old doctor. The doctor examined
his tong, heart and pulse and talked about weather.

doing the doctor good turn by going to him. Why?
Ans: He thought that the doctor would get better
practice out of him as he was suffering from all diseases.

prescription given to him by the doctor?
Ans: The doctor advised him to eat beef, sleep
early, take exercise and get relaxed.
Q. 9: Describe his
visit to the chemist.
Ans: The chemist handed the prescription back
saying that he does not keep these things.
Q. 10: What is the significance of the doctor’s advice: don’t stuff your
head with things you don’t understand?
Ans: The doctor advised is very significant which
suggests that little knowledge is a dangerous thing.
